    Default Seo Mistakes

SEO Mistakes which should avoid -

1)Keyword Stuffing, While writing content/post, most users usually put keyword as much as possible. This is highly not recommended. The targeted keywords should not be more than 3-5 % of the total content.Failing to do so would result into keyword stuffing and get penalised by search engines.

    2) Bad content which is not useful related to the title.

    3) Poor grammar and spelling mistakes.

    4) Choosing inappropriate Keyword in Labels.

    5) Do not put too much Outbound Link while you think it increase your PR, but Google can Ban your website for a time.

    6) Submitting to Bad directories.

    7) Do not submit your website in Local Search Engines, it is simply wasting your time.If you are listed in Major Search Engines it is too enough to get good traffic.

    8) Please follow the Google Guidelines - You can get it in Google/SEO Guidelines in the Google.com.

Thank you for the information provided. It is indeed helpful

However, I think there is a mistake in the first point.

I think keyword stuffing actually means that there shouldn't be keywords all around the article and the percentage of keywords in the content should be 3 to 5% (suggested by some webmasters). However, this does not mean that you should write keywords only 3 to 5 times in the article and this actually depends on the number of words in the article.

    Hope this helps..

It is true that keyword stuffing can impact badly on your site's ranking, so it is very important to focus on writing useful content led copy that uses keywords in right proportion and at the right context.

If we are writing some content for submitting it into article directories like ezine articles, they are not accepted. Reason behind this is keyword stuffing, so it is possible that search engines are also neglecting such posts and they are not indexed. So this is also one of the good reasons if your posts are not getting indexed by search engines.

If you want to make sure that your content has limited keywords and is good, you should keep the keywords limited and the keywords should be placed wherever necessary. The reason for this is the fact that search engines appreciate the content which looks natural and it is also important that the readers like the content as if they do not like the content, they won't come on the website again

    Hope this helps...

You may have a look at the following:-:

    1. Never Leave the <title> tag empty: instead of leaving it empty you should fill it with some important keyword. It's one of the best place to have a keyword, because it will not only help you in optimization but also the the text in <title> will be viewed as your page title in search results.

    2. Use of Java Script menus: Search engine are not familiar with JavaScript, i.e. they can't read them. Instead put links in a noscript tag, and all your links will be crawable.

    3. html alternate for Flash based websites: Flash websites are appealing but not for Search engines, since spiders are unable to read Flash content and hence can't index it.
Solution for this problem is to provide an html version as an alternate.

Search engine are not familiar with JavaScript. Good Keyword in titles gives you more crawl by Search Engine and helps to improve traffic. So regular update is required to improve visitors.

Well, I think you are talking about reciprocal links in this post. If yes, I have the same opinion

Some of the webmasters try to get backlinks from many websites and due to this, they keep many links on the website which is certainly not good.

Hence, it is recommended that you get backlinks from some quality websites and do not put website links on your website in order to get the link juice

Not reciprocal link, Its outbound link which link that points away from your website. So do not outbound too much from your website. As you said Reciprocal links are good as they increase website popularity.
