Classified advertising is a form of advertising which is particularly common in newspapers, online and other periodicals.
Advertisements placed by people and businesses to let people know about the products for sale and jobs available.

There can be a marginal increase in traffic through such websites.But it can be beneficial from SEO point of view if the classified sites offer Do Follow backlinks.

classifieds are just like any newspaper advertising or letting ppl know you have something to sell or u need something to buy heck its even useful to just share info. usually you have to pay for classifieds ads but there are also many free clasifieds websites more then 1000 if u find u can easily find them. and from seo point for view its very useful and it offers one way link exchange which is very essential but one drop back is that most of the classifieds offer only a month's subscription i.e u will have to place ur add again. its all hard work but hey its worth the time and effort u put in.
