Thread: Server Slow

    Default Server Slow

    Hello,

Sometimes, you may find that your Linux dedicated server is not working properly and none of the sites or applications installed on the server are responding well. You try to contact the hosting provider or someone who can sort out the issue for you. Instead of doing this, it's better to reboot the Linux dedicated server and check if there is an improvement.

You can reboot your Linux dedicated server with the help of following steps:

    1. Login into your Linux dedicated server.

    2. Enter the following command

    # shutdown -r now

    3. You will receive a message that the server is rebooting and the server will reboot.

When the server restarts, you should find a difference in performance.

Generally Servers are more important compared to other desktops and laptops. So It is not recommended to install any third party software on a server.

I get the site everytime on my iPhone, and its even pretty fast. But my laptop is hit or miss. I even tried them both at the same time a little while ago, the iPhone got on while my laptop didn't.

This really seems to be interesting that iPhone is faster than the Laptop.
