A couple of years ago I used to use the Maxthon browser, which allows you to download such files.

Ummm, Unfortunately I can not quit using Firefox, I was hoping for the availability of any add-on to make such downloads possible from Firefox.

I found one as 'Sothink Flash Downloader For Firefox', have not used it yet but you can try for it. I hope it would enable you to download .swf files from the websites.

You can find few more at the following given link, I would suggest you to install all and get experience will all of them and then keep one of them and uninstall the remaining others.

I installed it and found very good, you just need to move your cursor over a flash file and it automatically ask for the download with a small icon.
