I have seen internal virus scans for Yahoo! I am not sure what kind of anti virus are you talking about, because your system anti virus does scan the attachments for viruses.

There are some of them available for avoiding spamming (Spam Assassin), but I am not sure what purpose are you looking forward to achieve, anti virus for scanning the attachments or the actual email.

Yes Alex there are few service to block the spam and virus mails. I am not sure they can take 100 % guarantee of doing so but I have seen some of claiming 80%.
