Rebuild mail database in Mac Mail

Hi

I am using MacMail to download emails from your server.

I have observed that the overall performance of Mail is reduced and problems are cropping up. I am advised to rebuild my mail database to resolve the issue.

Can anyone help me on how to rebuild my mail database in Mac Mail?

Hi

To rebuild an email database:

Select it in the mailboxes "drawer" in Mail

Then choose Mailbox > Rebuild Mailbox

The rebuilding process may take from several minutes to several hours, depending on the size of your mailboxes.
