Passwords not remembered by Firefox

Hi

I am experiencing issues with Firefox not remebering passwords entered for sites.

Does any one know why the Firefox browser is not saving my passwords or not remembering them?

I have also noticed that my Passwords are being automatically removed, any ideas?

Follow this

In main menu Tools >> Options

Here you will see options window with 8 Different pannels at the top

Click on the 'Security' Panel

In passwords look for the "Remember passwords for the sites" check box is checked with check mark or not.

Hope this will sort out your problem.

The above given solution should work for you. But if still the problem persist, then click on the right side button of 'Remember passwords for sites' of Exceptions (Passwords). The list if exceptional sites will appear in a small window. Check out whether the site you are trying to remember password is exists their or not, if it is there then select it and click the Remove button.

This is a great thread. I was having the same problem with Firefox so I switched to Google Chrome. While I like Google Chrome I also want to be able to use FireFox too. By the way, the solutions did work for me.

I also wanted to say thanks for explaining this. Some times I have little errors like that, that don't really have to do with web hosting. I am glad we can ask about things like that here too!

Thank you for your response and steps to resolve the issue.

Sorry to be a pain but I need to change the E-mail application used by Firefox, any ideas how can I achieve this?
