    How to restrict the access for cPanel and WHM services to particular IPs.


    1) Login to WHM

    2) Go to WHM >> Main >> Security Center >> Host Access Control
    (Here you will get array of text boxes with four header menues: Daemon, Access List, Action, Comment)

    3) Assume the IP "192.168.0.12" is to be allowed the access to cpanel service and rest are denied

    Select Daemon : cpaneld (to do this with WHM the daemon is whostmgrd )

    Put IP in Access list : 192.168.0.12

    Select Acction for IP : allow

    Comment : any text to explain 192.168.0.12 .

    Daemon Access List Action Comment
    cpaneld 192.168.0.12 allow My work IP

    4) Now deny the access to rest of the IPs.
    In the next line put following

    Select Daemon : cpaneld

    Put IP in Access list : all

    Select Acction for IP : deny

    Comment : put if needed

    Daemon Access List Action Comment
    cpaneld all deny rest of the IPs


    5) click on "save Host access list"

    6) Do not forget to test settings

    Try to login to cpanel service from the machines which will have different IPs than the one which is allowed.
