SSL Error

I have got a SSL certificate for my website, but while installing it I am getting an error stating that I require a dedicated IP. I am not sure why this is happening as I have not heard anything about having a dedicated IP for SSL.

If you have purchased the SSL certificate from your web hosting service provider, you can confirm if they'll provide you with a dedicated IP. I agree with Nishant, the issue that you are facing is because of the lack of a dedicated IP. With some changes in your hosting package, you should be able to acquire a dedicated IP which will solely used by you. Normally in a shared hosting environment, one IP is shared by all the account holders on that account.
